Spinout.fyi is a growing effort to crowdsource and openly publish spinout deal terms across every university. Spinout.fyi seeks to shed light on deal terms to catalyse a re-write of the spinout playbook in favor of future founders.
By publishing the raw survey data in the open, Spinout.fyi wants to level the information playing field for spinout founders who too often enter negotiations with their university Tech Transfer Offices not knowing what to expect. In its blog post, Spinout.fyi shares key findings, data, and founder quotes to add color. You can also download slides here.
